Stimulate. Don’t annihilate. If you can’t get it done in about an hour, you’re probably doing too much and are at risk of overtraining. More is not necessarily better.

Train smarter not harder. Figure out your goal, then do what it takes to get there. Why are you doing high intensity conditioning circuits if you want to get bigger and stronger? Don’t waste your time or your calories.

You can’t do it all, and you shouldn’t. Have a plan before you enter the gym.

Don’t sweat the small stuff… in the kitchen. Beating yourself up over a few calories, or tenths of a pound, is pointless. It’s all an estimate anyway.

Sweat the small stuff… in the gym. Small incremental gains build up over time. Track your stats accurately.
